Why, How, Who
Why we chose to create this digital immersive story project, is because history travels so quick it is hard to keep a hold of what has been. It is sometimes hard to get an idea about our heritage, no matter where we are from. Its even more difficult to get a persons personality across in words or memory. What we will achieve in this project is the ability to hear a persons voice and get an idea of who they are...
How we have approached the project is to gather and research those people who have a long history in the community. There are some families who have been here for so long, its hard to know when their ancestors arrived to the shores of Liverpool. But where ever they came from, they would not have known they would be leaving such a legacy or that the descenddants would be part of the fabric that has created a multicultrual community.
Who are the individuals involved in the project, they are us...you and me, individuals who reside here and consider this place their home. These are the individuals who contribute to the blend of cultures that define this community as a diverse hub, and it is this identity that we will uphold in the future. We don't differentiate based on race, beliefs, or ethnicity; rather, we view everyone as individuals. It is we who shape the essence of a place
